Meet the Mutch Family

In 2016 we made the move to Missouri, building and downsizing into a tiny house, finding a plot of land, and digging in. Our homesteading journey has seen the addition of a not-as-tiny off-grid cabin, our duck flock increasing four-fold, and a bright son. We relish spending our days hauling water, building fires and sinking our fingers into fertile earth. Connecting daily with this land, one another and quietness has been a remarkable change for the good for us. Now, we work to encourage others to grow something too, in hope that they might seek and find peace in cultivating a relationship of reciprocity with nature.

“The care of the earth is our most ancient and most worthy, and after all our most pleasing responsibility. To cherish what remains of it and to foster its renewal is our only hope.”

- Wendell Berry, Radical Agriculture
